Well, I had a walk-in appt just to confirm pregnancy and do bloodwork stuff a month ago. Now I went back for my first internal and such. I am 10.5 weeks and she got the hb right away. What a relief that was. I'm so much more nervous this time around, for some reason. I guess I'm afraid we're pushing our luck asking God for another healthy baby. HB was 169-172. All else was good. I go back in 4 weeks, but I'm going to try and get my next appt for about 7 weeks and that will be my u/s as well. Good luck all. I hope all the appts go as well as mine, except without the long long long wait. I was there from 9:30 (appt time) until 11:45. YUCK!

Wow, I never thought of it that way! Maybe it's the fourth! But I bet you are both fine and dandy!! Sounds like a great appt once you got in! That wait would have killed me with two little ones!!

That's great! I'm glad you had a good 1st appointment. I hope your wait next time isn't so long! That would have been near agonizing!

Glad your appt went so well! I hate waiting in those offices! When I went in at 6 1/2 weeks for an u/s to see if this pregnancy was developing (had problems in the past) my DD and I had to wait 2 hours because my dr was in the middle of a c-section. I understand that was more important but you would think they could have gotten someone to do it instead of making me wait!

Congrats on hearing the heartbeat so easily! I know that takes a load off your mind!
