Re: Would you lie about your child's age?
I didn't know there was a debate board here on SK's woohoo!
I am sorry to say, EVERYONE LIES or has LIED!
I try to instill in my children values, ethics and morals, but how ethical is it when companies do charge full price for children that have no place charging that much. I don't mind paying for certain things, but I also do not like being taken advantage of either. Now that my children are older and understand, I would never lie in front of them, but when they were younger (toddler) and far from being able to understand - I certainly would!

Re: Would you lie about your child's age?
I answered never but have to admit that there are extreme situations, I would not do it to get some kind of discount because I don't want my son to see lying as a way to get "stuff", but in some cases is completely acceptable, I'm cuban and I've met some families that were in Guantanamo bay with their kids and had to lie about their ages to come to USA, this was a life or death situation and in that case I would do it in a heartbeat.

Re: Would you lie about your child's age?
No I would not.
I beleive that my word is important and my motto is "say what you mean, and MEAN what you say"
If I do not agree with an establishments rules, they will simply not get my business.
After all, your dollar is your vote, and any time you purchase something somewhere, you are helping to sponsor their business.

Re: Would you lie about your child's age?
I try to teach my children core values and if they lie they face the consequences. It would be hypocritical of me to lie about my childrens age.
