Who's sicker? The guy or the girl?
Marriage contract.
My friends and I are currently debating on this issue. Some say he's a sick pervert and feel sorry for her. Others say he's a sick pervert and she's an idiot.
I tend to be in the second camp. Who the hell would agree to something like that? I have a hard time feeling any sympathy for someone who would sign something so assinine.
Thoughts?

Oh I'm a dumbass, it says she didn't sign it.
Ok...so what if she had. Then who would be sicker?

Re: Who's sicker? The guy or the girl?
Actually, this thing is fairly common in BDSM relationships. In fact, reading over this, I can assure you there would be both women and men who would be disappointed that it wasn't worded stronger. Far to much ambiguity for many people's taste.
So its not your cup of tea. Some people enjoy this kind of thing and function well in such a scenario. Every marriage is unique in how it works. Every couple needs something different to work as a couple.
Sounds like this particular couple wasn't on the same page. That doesn't make either one "sick".

Hey I'm down with some people wanting to be freaky. But I don't think expecting a woman to be your sex slave (aka rape) is acceptable. Especially since this guy got arrested for kiddie porn and is obviously a sex pervert.

LMAO...I am sorry but no matter HOW freaky people want to be, NOBODY ever actually psychologically functions well being purely submissive. Nor would ANYONE function well being *required* to potentially be raped per some contract.
there is no way something like this would ever be considered legal...but damn...what awesome evidence for what a freak this guy is to the court

Re: Who's sicker? The guy or the girl?
I'll reply to both of you at once:
First off, this guy had issues (child molestation) that have nothing to do with your standard BDSM kinks. Don't confuse the two issues. People that practice BDSM are not automatically all sex criminals.
Secondly, there *ARE* people who function perfectly being submissive all the time. You don't happen to know them, but they exist. The same way that there are people who function being dominant all the time, and people who hit every grade between the two.
I'd suggest browsing the internet and seeing some of the good BDSM relationships out there, instead of the National Enquirer-esque one that this media fodder appears to be.
Oh, and as far as "rape" goes, well, if you enjoy play-acting rape, then how is it "rape"? People can and do enjoy such things. Prior consent just means that person has thought it out beforehand.
Seems to me you are both painting this with your own pre-conceived notions rather than trying to understand there are and will always be people who are different and function just find under conditions you will, in all likelihood, never understand.

Oh I get that people function differently. But telling someone how to sleep, perform sex acts and otherwise be a personal whore will never be okay with me.
And sorry, but I think anyone who would accept such a sexually submissive lifestyle obviously has issues.
But that's just me. And it's a debate board so I get, and respect, your right to have an opinion.

I agree with Bill. If both people are going into it in agreement then more power to them. Just because I would never be happy being submissive all the time doesn't mean no one else would be.
