What kinds of meals and snacks do you feed your kids?

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
Hmm so many things, I will just post what the kids had today and what is planned for tomorrow.
My kids aren't big breakfast eaters so all they ever want is cereal. So for breakfast it was Rice Krispies and orange juice.
Snack #1 was unusual today as we decided to make chocolate pudding, so that is what they had. With water to drink.
Lunch was whole wheat english muffins with peanut butter. Grapes, cheese, and chocolate milk.
Snack #2 was crackers, carrots, apple slices, and 100% juice.
Dinner will be chili, corn on the cob, and cottage cheese. White milk.
Snack #3 will most likely be popcorn as we are watching a movie tonight. Whatever they want to drink, either water, milk, orange juice or 100% fruit juice.
Tomorrow will be:
Breakfast: Cereal or oatmeal with orange juice.
Snack #1 cantalope and watermellon with water.
Lunch: Tacos and green beans. Chocolate milk.
Snack #2 yogurt and peanut butter crackers. 100% juice
Dinner: Pizza, it is Friday and we have a pizza party every Friday. Garlic bread, pickles, and whatever they want to drink, no pop though.
Snack #3 peaches and cottage cheese. Water, milk, or juice.

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
Breakfast - usually cereal, bagels/cream cheese or oatmeal. Sometimes, if I'm feeling real awake, I'll make pancakes or we'll have eggs and bacon
Lunch - usually sunbutter & jelly, deli meat type sandwhich, hotdogs, or mac & Cheese - with either applesauce, chips, string cheese, or fruit
Supper - meat, potato, steamed veggies or casserole, unless we grill out then it's either steak with Italian potatoes and corn on the cob or hamburgers
Snacks - we've done cereal, bagels, fruit, applesauce, cheese & crackers, jello, unless there's been a birthday lol then we'll have a little cake and milk, once in a while we'll make cookies or some kind of desert treat.

Anything and everything. Adam gets some juice, but not much. He loves his water. He does it some junk food, but we always try to get a few fruits and veggies in a day. He likes everything, and we are very lucky for that.
Oh, and bad mommy here, but he does get some soda when we eat out. Mostly Root Beer.

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
Whatever they want, I'm a short order cook. If they don't like what I fix, I'll fix them a seperate meal. Totally kidding. It's quite the opposite.
For breakfast they tend to eat cold cereal or oatmeal, once in a while toast and if they are on sale, I may buy poptarts.
For lunch, well during the summer when they are at home it's usually PB&J, chips and fruit. My youngest son goes to work with me at the daycare center, so he gets whatever is on the menu that day. When school starts, the 2 older ones will have hot lunch probably twice a week and I will send them a sandwich, fruit, veggi, maybe a treat and either juice or milk.
Dinner, that varies, but I will only fix one meal. My kids have not eaten what I fixed plenty of times and they certainly haven't starved to death. Tonight we had chicken nuggets, french fries, cantalope and milk. Last night we had lasagna, corn, applesause and milk. There is almost always at least one thing one or the other, or all of them won't eat, but there is also almost always at least one thing they will eat. Very seldom do I find one of them not eating at all, if it happens, they eat at breakfast.
We do fast food maybe twice a month. I don't get them pop in a kids meal, they will get chocolate milk. Pop is a rare treat for my kids.
Snacks, they don't get those everyday, except my younger son at daycare. This could be graham crackers, fish crackers, celery w/pbutter, raisins, things like that. Juice, water or milk to drink.

I don't give my kids pop either. When I was growing up I was only allowed to have pop for special occasions. I've done the same thing with my girls.

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
My son is a year old today, and he eats a good variety. I try to include a fruit or vegetable with every meal, and meat or a meat substitute for at least one meal. For example, today for breakfast he had mandarin oranges and some Cheerio's. For lunch he had egg salad sandwich with olives, and for supper he had moose sausage (totally yummy), scalloped potatoes and cream of corn. He drinks homogenized milk and a nutritional supplement (Enfagrow). It is tough to get him to drink, so right now he usually doesn't drink juice or much water because it's tough to even get him to drink his milk. Usually for snacks it is caramel rice cakes, animal crackers, or yogurt. I try very hard not to feed him any junk food, but occasionally he will have a couple of chips or fries. I'm gonna try to not feed him pop for a long long time. Maybe I can get him to like fizzy water instead

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
My youngest turned 1 in late Feb and he eats everything we do. He had sloppy joes on messy night. He ate pork chops, stuffing and fruit when we did. my kids eat everything we eat aside from buying salad stuff for my 3 yr old, LOL. hes a salad nut and would live as a vegetarian if i let him. If I make something I know my kids wont eat i just make something else for my kids (my 3 yr old cant chew pork so he gets chicken nuggets or a chef salad instead).
breakfast is pancakes, waffles, bacon/sausage, cereal, oatmeal, etc etc.
lunch is sandwhiches, left overs from dinner, grilled cheese, tacos, umm.... chicken strips, hot dogs, Freschetta garlic sticks (they have pizza sauce inside).
Dinner is whatever we are eating. spagetti (I leave the sauce off for 2 of my kids), meat loaf, chicken, steak, pork, etc etc

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
Whatever he can get his hands on. Noah is a big eater. Here is the plan for tomorrow.
Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs with chocolate milk
Snack: Popcorn
Lunch: PBJ on whole wheat with carrots and ranch for dipping.
Snack: 2 Cheese sticks
Dinner: Chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, and corn.
We do allow coke. We drink it and believe in everything in moderation.

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
we try to eat healthy as possible, and as much organic and fresh foods we can. I try to cover the 4 food groups.
Today's menu
Breakfast
Kashi whole grain waffles w/ homemade peanutbutter, cottage cheese & Stawberries
Snack
Fruit leather
Lunch
grilled cheese (whole grain bread & sharp cheese) Sliced apples & carrot sticks
Snack
yogurt & pretzels
Dinner
Taco's w/ ground turkey, veggies & cheese on whole grain burritos
& homemade ice cream for desert
we try to be healthy as possible, but I give in to certian goodies from time to time.

Re: What do you feed your child/children?
breakfast cereal, with only twelve grams of sugar or pancakes or waffles, french toast, eggs, oranges , juice 'no sugar added' no artificalness either
lunch mac n cheese, sandwiches , some veggies, sometimes some wendys or mcdonalds, school he gets a variety,
snacks -fruit,yogurt
dinner can vary from hamburger helper, pasta dishes, to pizza
goldfish crackers before bed
we do have pop and sweets I eat and drink more than he does. I give my boy a minimal amount of sweets I think it's better to have it their so then when kids do get a chance to have it so they don't overeat once they get some. my boy will say 'no to ice cream' and dessert after dinner but he does get a one time sprinkled doughnut . If we are at the movies we will share soda, treats he will never get a 'full one to drink but has to make sure he eats his more better food first before he gets any
