I chose an all terrain. It was a travel system,so I could fasten the carseat into the stroller and he would be much more comfortable when he was still young and "floppy". It's good because we like to go for walks in places where it's not always completely stroller friendly.

Umbrella strollers don't work out well for young babies. They're best if you don't have much trunk space, and your little one is about 11+ months old.

I prefer a side-by-side all-terrain stroller because I can have two kids in it as a time.

Actually - it's all sport, not all-terrain

I think it depends on the age of the baby...right now, I just really want a good, lightweight umbrella stroller with a big basket underneath, a cup holder, and good wheels for manuevering (sp).

I've had it all, from a cadillac-type stroller (a HUGE Graco Chauffer, way too big and heavy, literally took up the whole trunk of my old compact car) to a cheapy $10 umbrella stroller. I had a lightweight but full-size stroller (Metrolite) and I have a jogger, which is great for walks, but a pain to use all the time because if I want to put it in my trunk I have to take the front wheel off, plus the front wheel doesn't turn.

So, like I first said, my current opinion of "best" is a good umbrella stroller with some extras.

I actually liked the large Boatillac strollers when DS was an infant and we needed to go to the mall or to the park. Once he got a little bigger, but still too small to walk a lot, we bought a cheap umbrella stroller, but DS hated it because it had no back support. So then we went back a bought a pricey umbrella model with better wheels and a nice stiff back that supported him much better.

We didn't really use it much, though, because once he started walking well and could walk a lot - around 18 months - we just had him walk everywhere with us.

None, I use a sling. When I did have to go somewhere with both girls, Camryn was in her wheelchair and Hannah was in the sling or she walked.
