“Match Point” princess Scarlett Johansson has bested United Nations earth mother Angelina Jolie as the Sexiest Woman in the World, according to fans of FHM magazine.
“One of the best things for a woman to hear is that she is sexy,” said Miss Scarlett, who was No. 9 on the 2005 list. “I’d like to thank FHM’s readers for the huge compliment.”
Jolie, who topped the “100 Sexiest Women in the World” last year, dropped down to No. 2. She’s followed by “Fantastic Four” femme fatale Jessica Alba, Daisy Dukes-wearin’ Jessica Simpson and “Pride and Prejudice” star Keira Knightley.
Hasty Pudding’s Woman of the Year Halle Berry rang in at No. 6. Other “Sexy” gals included Jenny McCarthy, tennis phenom, Maria Sharapova, “Scary Movie” mistress Carmen Electra and “Desperate Houswives” hot mama Teri Hatcher.
“It’s remarkable how Scarlett Johansson has caught the attention of our readers,” said U.S. Editor in Chief Scott Gramling. “Her sultry voice and striking beauty certainly have a lot to do with that, but so does the confidence she exudes.”
“She seems to be one of those women who would be equally at ease on the red carpet as she would just hanging out with the guys.”
Unless, of course, one of those guys is Golden Globes groper Isaac Mizrahi!
I can understand why men might find her to be quite sexy, large breasts and pouty lips, but she isn't in the same league as AJ, IMO. I too can't stand her voice.
I think Johannasen is very pretty and looks natural. I still don't see how Jolie even comes close with those lips and teeny arms. Teri Hatcher is another one I don't get. She used to be so pretty but after all of that plastic surgery, she looks strange and unstable.

I do think that Jessica Alba is the prettiest and sexiest. I would have put her at #1.
I know i haven't agreed with some of the picks of People's Sexiest Men in the past.
What's sexy to one person is not to another.

I think it's the way she carries herself, kwim, with confidence. She's not ugly but not overly gorgeous either.
I think people look at that a little more... I mean, look at Sarah Jessica Parker... NOT PRETTY.
