Thank you!

Yesterday was such a fabulous day. My Mom flew up from California and we had about 10 friends there to witness Jacob's big day. The judge was fabulous! She gave a little speech about how she was so pleased to be signing the papers for our adoption and how Jacob is such a lucky little boy. Of course, we think
we're the lucky ones to have such a sweet, outgoing, happy and incredibly cute baby. The judge also asked everyone to say a few words about us and Jacob and there weren't many dry eyes in the courtroom. My Mom had bought a little outfit for Jacob that had a vest and tie and he looked very dapper. He was unsure about everything at first, but he soon warmed up to the occasion and even clapped after it was all over (I love the pic in my sig because he's clapping--I've just chosen to ignore all the closed eyes in the pic). We all went out for ice cream afterwards.
I can't even begin to describe how joyful my heart is.
