How do you decide when your child can sit safely in a movie seat ?
To me my boy is almost 4 yrs old I do not 'feel he should sit in the 'seat all by himself at all because # 1 he's so small & light when he 'scoots back the seat tips up in the front.
#2 He 'crawls in out of the 'seats while heading to turn around in the seat while the seat is trying to go up when he's on his hands & knees
#3 He has a habbit of 'standing on every single chair so what will make him not 'stand in this 'chair ?
#4 I only know he does these things because his grandparents do not listen to my 'wishes' and undermine my authority by 'taking 'control of the situation' so to 'avoid conflict with the 'situation 'i hold the seat & allow him to sit down on the seat but more to the front- which they thought was 'ridicolous & actually called me abusive because I wouldn't let him sit way back in the chair because I know he would put his hands in there & he would get pinched or hands could be 'stuck' should I wait til that happens & blame my parents who 'didn't listen to me when my boy got ouchies I would know he would get because I know him after all I am his mom so I should know what he is capable of if you know what I mean or should I do what i believe is safe with ignoring them
Down the road I will allow him to sit in the seat way in the back when i feel he wiill not make seat tip over and when he will sit straight and stilll in a seat without crawling in and out if its not a tipping seat he will be able to sit in it
