I don't think the legal age to join the military or buy cigarettes should be 18 but rather 19, when you can be certain that every one has graduated high school. I think 19 year olds should be allowed to drink to. I know that after I became the legal age it lost its draw for me and I did not want to drink as much. It will work that way for most others too. In Germany the legal drinking age is 16! Can you imagine that!

There are lots of people who don't graudate hs till 19 or later.
