When to start meds????

Hi ladies - I might do an IUI this month. It has been soo long since I have done one (I have been doing IVFs the last few years) and I forgot when you start the injectable medications. I am going in on day 3 for bloodwork and u/s. Is that the day you start normally? Or is it suppose to be day 1? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Janine, I start on cd 3 normally. I take Menopur on cd 3,5,7 & 9. Femara cd 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger when ready. I hope this helps.

What meds will you be on, do you know yet?

Angie - thanks for the reply. I am not sure what meds I will be on. I do know that it will be pure injectables. Maybe a mix of Menopur and Gonal F??? Not sure yet. I was suppose do do my final IVF this month, but AF came a few days late and IVF would now will interefere with a vacation I had planned so I thought I would try IUI. However an IUI will probably have to be done very near the 4th of July so I am not even sure if that will work. I really hope it does!! Thanks again for your reply.

I believe I remember you from when I joined. I'm not sure which board it was, but I lurked everywhere, I still do actually! lol

Let us know what your protocol is, so we can obsess w/ you! hehe
