Icon5 When is it realistic to poas?

Hi ladies! I had my 2nd IUI on Thursday, Jan. 31st, so today is what, day 11, right? Usually I start spotting 8-10 days after ovulation and I'm doing Prometrium suppositories as well as Estrace pills. Will those drugs keep my period at bay? I'm just wondering when it's realistic for me to test?

Thanks!

I always waited until 14 dpiui...I know up til 10 days you can get a false positive bc some of the drugs are still in the system. And my dr had always said to wait until 14 dpiui--so I always tried to do that (but you can test a little earlier, I just wanted to preserve some of my sanity_

I'm just wondering why I haven't started spotting yet. I'm curious as to whether the drugs will make af come later than normal. Like I said, I usually start spotting 8-10 days past ovulation, spot for about a week and then af comes.

I think I'll wait until 14dpo to test - give old "spot" a little more time to show. Of course, Day 14 is Valentine's Day, which is a horrible day to get a bfn!

I got a BFP at 10dpiui. I think tomorrow FMU will be a good start!

I would say 14 dpIUI would give you a good honest answer. With DD I waited till I was 17 dpIUI to test I really thought the cycle was a bust and didn't bother testing, GL to you on what ever you decide!

Yeah, I think I'll wait. It's just 2 more days, anyway. Thanks, ladies!!

If you're on progesterone, it will keep AF at bay until you stop the medication. If you did a trigger, it should be out of your system by 10 dpiui. My RE always says not to test till 14 dpiui, but a couple of times I tested at 12 dpiui and got bfp's. The first bfp I was good and didn't test until 14 dpiui. I'm crossing my fingers for ya, be sure and let us know what happens!!
