Hi everyone. I've been off having my no-meds/no-IUI month. It has been refreshing to be med free and feel normal again. I don't think it worked for me though. I have had two negative HPTs and am on day 30 of my cycle. It is confusing though because the clomid gave me 32 day cycles and my normal cycles are 26-28 days. So, here I am in the middle of both numbers and no AF. I started spotting yesterday and cramping but still no AF. I figure it is too late for implantation spotting so I am sitting here waiting on dumb ol' . I just wish it would happen already. Each hour that goes by gives me that dreaded hope that I could be pg. Come on AF if yer comin'!!

Usually I see AF soon after posting here toward the end of my cycle though. Maybe it is psychological? So send me some AF vibes if you can.

Next cycle hopefully the cyst is gone and we can do another round of Clomid and IUI. If the cyst is still there, I will try the BCPs. Anyone had to do BCPs for a cyst? Do they affect fertility after they are stopped?

Thanks for letting me vent. I wish everyone much follie dust, implantation dust, and most of all, baby dust.

Thanks for the encouragement. Like clockwork, AF arrived a couple hours after I posted. At least I have my answer and can move on and get ready for the next cycle. Sono should be on Friday to see if the cyst is gone. What a wild ride it will be if I do the clomid/IUI route as intended. We should be closing on a new house in the next month. I might be a stressball! At least I'll stay busy.

Hi Laura - sorry this month was a bust. AF was late for me this month too and that is the worst especially when she takes her sweet ole time getting here. To answer your question about bcp, it will not affect your fertility and you will likely only be on the a month if you have a cyst. I hope that everything will be clear at the u/s this Friday so you won't even have to think about bcp. Good luck.

I am so sorry that won't show for you. I am proned to producing large cysts, so I have taken the bcp before. My doc explained that it helps the cysts go away more quickly. Each time that I have taken the bcp my cysts are gone when I go in for a baseline scan. He also explained that sometimes the bcp will suppress your ovaries a bit, and then they will respond better the next month to the stimulation.
