Talk about a stressful moment...

I just recieved my injectibles shipment here at work and I opened immediately to check contents. First 1 of the bottles of Menopur was missing, but luckily I found it wrapped in a bunch of bubble wrap I was going to throw away, so glad I checked it first! Then, The script was for 30g 1/2" needles and they put in 18g 1 1/2" needles!! WTH? So I'm scrambling around trying to get some needles, as I start them tonight. What a pain...After calling pharmacies here in town and getting nowhere., I ended up sweet talking a drs. office next door to my work for some....I couldn't go pick some up at RE's office cause they are well over an hour away. Yikes!

Oh well, it's over now and I have what I need. Whew! That was close!!

Ah, nothing like a little added stress to an already stressful situation! Ugh! I had to do mail order for a couple of cycles and it was such a horrible experience- I would come home and they wouldn't be there or arrive broken and it would already be after working hours. I talked to my HR rep and got my insurance to allow for local Rxs. It was such a relief. Glad you were able to find the needles, next time you are at your RE ask them for some extra!!!
