Symptoms
First of all, congrats to all who have recently gotten BFPs. I have read your posts in lurking mode and am super happy for you all. I have been a bit down about this whole process lately and have been a little poopy. Sorry for my absence and not being able to stay supportive and optimistic. It comes in waves.
Here is where I am right now. I just had IUI#4 and am 11 dpo. The strangest thing just happened and I am wondering what you think. When I wiped today (TMI) there was a light streak of orangish pink blood. I wiped again and there was less. Then nothing. That was about 3 hours ago. For the last five or so days, my nipples have been ultra sensitive to the touch. I currently feel some slight AF cramps. That is about it other than the usual tiredness. I have never spotted this early on clomid. With clomid I have had a regular 30-32 day cycle, every time. This is cycle day 27 and I have never spotted this early. I know there is no way to know but I am kind going crazy and was wondering what all of this sounds like to others. Could I get implantation spotting at 11 dpo? I am so afraid to test and see a negative. Any advice/opinons? Many thanks.

Re: Symptoms
Laura,
I am sitting here on my 9th dp IUI, and feeling slight cramps and checking every hour to see if I have started to spot. Last month I started to spot at 10 dp IUI, and then nothing and then 2 days later AF. But that spotting was more than just a "swipe" and happened for several hours before it stopped and then became AF.
If you had spotting just one time when you wiped, it could very well be implantation spotting.
I know what you mean about not wanting to test for fear of another BFN. This is my seventh and probably my last IUI, so I am going crazy trying to analyze my symptoms.
My bbs are so heavy, and I am very tired, but with the cramps and the feeling that AF is going to be here any moment, I am not to optimistic.
Did you have a HCG trigger shot with your clomid? I did and I am not sure when it clears your system for checking anyway. Not that I want to check just yet....
Anyway, I wish you all the luck, and I will keep my fingers crossed for us both.

Re: Symptoms
Nope, no trigger. I still haven't had the nerve to test yet. Some spotting this morning but nothing now. I don't have a very good feeling. I'll just have to wait and see. Good luck to you as well. It has to happen eventually, right?
Thanks for your response.

Re: Symptoms
Hi,
Im in england and we have the same treatments and drugs as the u.s.a,
My consultant told me very straight that because if the meds being in your system its virtually impossible to tell if you are because they mimic the symptoms.
Its awful, ive been there and the 2ww is probably the most helpless ive ever felt as there is no control on the next few weeks.
I so so so so so hope you both get that bfp, It has to come around one day so why not on your poas day!
Many hugs and wishes

Re: Symptoms
BFN this morning. She is on her way. Bummer. I feel sad but my husband is really having a hard time this time. I don't know what to tell him. I feel like it is my fault that he is so sad. He would reassure me that it isn't but I can't help feeling like a failure and a disappointment to him. Any advice?

Re: Symptoms
Laura,
I totally sympathize with your situation. We TTC for almost 2 yrs before we were successful. And there were months where it was particularly hard for either one of us.
A few times I would apologize to my husband and he'd instantly get upset saying it was both of us--its his swimmers and me. But, inside, I still felt guilty that my body wasn't doing what it should.
the only thing I can offer is to recognize that men sometimes deal with this differently. And remember this is a team approach working on this--so when it is successful it is a team victory.
my dh and I had different ways we'd 'deal' each month. I needed a night to just bawl my eyes out and have a 'pity party.' and my dh was much more reserved and would be slightly bummed, but nothing outright. so gave each other room to deal, but stayed close to cope.
hang in there--your bfp is around the corner!

Re: Symptoms
Laura,
I'm so very sorry.
I can't test until tomorrow to make sure the trigger shot is clear, but I have been having cramps for the last 4 days, they have been getting stronger, and it feels like AF is going to be here any minute. So I will wait until morning, but I don't have a good feeling.
Don't feel like a failure, I Know how dissapointed you are, as I am, but don't feel like a failure. Remember, there is so much more to us than this.
Sending big <<hugs>> and hang in there.

Re: Symptoms
alot of our problems are down to dh, but ive tried to make major efforts so he doesnt keep blaming himself for the constant bfn, tmi time! a week after last failed iui i got some nice lingerie and made sure what we did! wasnt at all anything to concieve, i didnt want him to ever think i only want him at ovulation times, so i seduced him and made him realise what a yummy gf he has!
It took my mind of ttc and boosted his ego big time, bless!
good luck
hugs
