small update on me

Re's nurse called first thing this a.m. I had to do yes, a 5th beta today. I am still going in for the u/s tomorrow morning no matter what the results are, but they wanted another one to go by.

I got there at lunch and they couldn't get any blood out of the first vein, go figure. So I had to be stuck twice. At one point the lab director himself came out to help find a good vein that wasn't bruised. I have excellent veins btw, but the well is tapped dry! haha

Please send well wishes for my numbers. Mom put me on a prayer chain and other friends called/emailed everyone they knew. I am so fortunate.

I will post in this thread later today and let you all know what the results were.

I will post re: the u/s tomorrow afternoon!

I have a *glimmer* of hope!

My beta today was 609.

The percentages go like this:

64-119 86% rise
119-190 60% rise
190-372 57% rise (over 2 days) total 96% overall (3 days)
372-609 64% rise

I still go in tomorrow for u/s hoping there's a sac in the uterus. Of course we may know nothing and I keep going back till we do.

Any opinions on the rise? Today's was the 2nd largest jump? Anybody ever had a blighted ovum??

That is wonderful news...keep up the positive thoughts! Don't even worry about the blighted ovum...you will see one nice, perfect sack tomorrow and the next u/s you will see one perfect heart beating

Angie...Looks good to me...I don't know anything about a b/o I had a friend go threw it...but do not worry about that right now!!! I can not wait to hear about you u/s...Try to get a good nights sleep.....I said TRY!!!! LOL

Food for thought...Everyone told me this...keep it in mind...They told me that from the time a baby is born you worry for the rest of your life....Well this baby just decided to start early!!!! LOL

I need strength and faith for tomorrow. Even though they warned they may not see anything. Technically your beta has to be so high before they even see a sac, but she thinks maybe we'll see one. I want to see a sac, and yolk sac smack in the middle of my uterus, only to go back Aug 1st and see one beautiful heartbeat!

Come on baby, stay strong!!

I had a blighted ovum last November and my betas were high and tripled. I will say that my 6w u/s showed an irregular-shaped sac that measured 8 days behind. I hope you just have a late bloomer!
