Icon11 Rollercoaster

This is the most confused I have ever been. My nurse says that my hcg level is 8, which they consider pregnant. She said since we tested so early (12dpo), she would expect it to be this low. Has anyone ever seen a number this low? I am worried because of the negative pregnancy tests today followed by the positive yesterday. She also says that my progesterone level is 18, above the needed 15.
Should I be happy or cautious? I am so confused. I am supposed to go get another beta on Sunday (the day I was supposed to originally go in, before the spotting). I guess it is supposed to double by then? I don't know about this. I'm really scared.

I would be cautiously happy! Happy because it is a positive but cautious because it registered on your hpt and now it is registering as an 8. I say as long as it doubles on Sunday that's all that matters.

That confusing, have you taken another HPT test? I find it odd it didn't register on the one this morning you were 13 dpo right, it could be a late implanter. I really hope it double on sunday, really that all that matters is it doubles. Are you still bleeding?

I can understand your frustration Laura. I would be cautiously happy also. Let's hope Sunday's numbers come back doubled. Are you still spotting? My best friend spotted through her whole first trimester with her baby. I'm going to be thinking about you until Sunday and hoping you get a confirmation on that BFP!

Thanks for the well wishes ladies. I am more cautious than happy, but trying to be positive (or at least not negative.) I only spotting yesterday morning with the big glob, there has been nothing since. Very strange. Is that a good sign? I will certainly post as soon as I know anything further. I am out of hpts so I will wait for Sunday's beta to see if there is anything happening. Wish me luck!

I think that you just had the spotting the one day is a good sign, alot woman spot in early prganacy and everything turns out just fine. I am dying ot know if it would register on HPT today, I think it could of been a late impanter. I will be saying my prayer that it doubles on sunday update us when you can!
