Question about a cancelled IUI

I have a question about my cancelled IUI if anyone could help me that would be great.
Here's is my story. First of all I have no tube on the right side due to an ectopic pregnancy. Anywho, I went in on 3/ 5/ 08 had bigger follies on the right side (the bad side) alot of them one at 20mm, 19mm, 18mm, 17mm. On the left side I had two 16mm one that was almost 17mm. My RE cancelled my cycle due to all the follies and high estrogen levels. My Re said do not have intercourse and don't take your Ovirdel shot. He was concerned about OHSS, but I've been fine. I said " It won't matter anyway because all the bigger follies are on the bad side" He said I could still get pregnant even with no tube there. Isn't that weird.
Anyway I usually get AF about 9 or 10days after my iui and I haven't gotten it yet and today it is 16days past the day he cancelled it.

Does AF take along time to show up after a cancelled cycle.
or my RE said no intercourse that was Wed. however we did have intercourse the Sunday night before the cancellation. Can sperm live that long I would of had to "O" Wed. night on my own though. Looking for some feed back

I really do not know the answer to your question...But I suppose ANYthing is possible!! Have you POAS??? If not I would POAS and see what happens....other wise if you have and it is negative....I would just give the RE a buzz and see what they say....

I agree with Nicole the only way to know for sure is to POAS, anythings possible KUP!!!

Appearantly the eggs can float so you could get pregnant. POAS already! : )

Sperm can live up to 72 hours if the enviroment is just right and yes, even with out a tube the egg will be released and if it found the open port into the uterus you could get pregnant or if DH sprerm made it out that right port and connected with the floating egg you could get an eptopic again. So if you did O early for what ever reason and the sperm was still hanging out you could have a chance.

Tubes have been known to grow back together, a friend of mine at 44 discovered she was pregnant after having hers tied 20 years ago.

Ok...not to be a bubble burster but when your ovaries are filled with unerruped follies (cysts) AF most likely won't come on schedule. Call your doc and let him know you want a pregnancy test and if neg. then you want to know what the next steps are. Don't take "let's wait and see" for an answer, either. Best of luck to you!
