Progesterone question
Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me with an answer. I had an IUI on Thursday, and started prometrium today. I have never taken medicine vaginally, though, and am a little intimidated by it.
How far in do I put it? How do I know I got in it far enough? I'm so worried I'm not doing it right and it won't do it's job.
Thanks
Laura

Re: Progesterone question
Hi Nicole,
Thanks for the answer. I think I'm doing it right, as I get some leakage, but not much. And no, neither of us are Greek. We just knew we didn't want a wedding, so we combined a small ceremony with our trip to Greece. I loved it! and wouldn't have done it any other way. Have you and your husband been there, or think about going there in the future?

Re: Progesterone question
Us too. We would love to do some more international traveling, but want Ava and the next one to be older. So, we have a few years to wait. In the meantime, we enjoy the traveling we can do in the states.
And, I work in a nursing home, so I see Parkinsons everyday, and know how hard it is. I'm sorry your FIL, and MIL are going through that.

Re: Progesterone question
Hi,
Lurking for cycle buddies and found you here. I am on the prometrium. I do it right before bed at night, and never have any leakage, b/c I won't get out of bed until morning. In the morning though, I try to get it as far up as possible, but always seem to have some leakage. GL!!! Hope this iui is it for you!
I see my ds and your lovely daughter are close in age. I love this age, and would to have a little one for him. Did you do iui for your daughter? That is our next step if this natural cycle didn't work.
Take care!

Re: Progesterone question
Nicole,
I'm having the same experience. The night time dose is fine, but a little leakage with the morning and afternoon ones. This is a fun age, isn't it! It's the way they communicate, I think. We didn't do IUI with Ava, but it did take us a year to get pregnant. I'm so hoping, for both of us, that the progesterone works!
