Progesteron-to use or not to use

Girls,
I was on vacation when i got BFP on the tests. I conceived naturally. I started taking progesteron vaginnaly (prometrium) 200 every night starting 12 day post ovulation. Just in case... I returned back to the OBGyn office on 17 DPO and had my blood drawn, now waiting for results. my question is how safe is it that I used progesteron on my own? I planned to start IUI and on the training I was told to start using progesteron twice a day right after IUI, which tells me that it should be safe, since in the IUI process I would still create corpus lutem and probably my own progesteron levels would be fine. However, the clinic requires to use progesteron without tests (right after IUI). Did you all used progesteron without tests? I guess it will interfere with my blood work results....

I've been on Prometrium (2x200mg 3 times a day) since the day after my IUI. The progesterone will help support a viable pregnancy and get your uterine lining nice and comfy for the bean to implant into.

I don't know the answers to your questions, I have never taken it. But I do want to say congrats and good luck!! Let us know how it turns out.
