How long have you been ttc? 15 months
What IUI number was this for you? 3, (we had one that was cancelled the day of the IUI, so we prepared for 4 but only had 3.)
What medications did you take, if any? Femara CD 3-7, and HCG trigger
Were you on a different protocol before this? no same protocol
What were your pregnancy symptoms? none really a little heartbust, MS started around 6 weeks.
What CD did you get your BFP? CD 17
Any Advice....or things you've learned?
I have learned that patients is the key! A child will come into your life not when your ready but when God is ready, and it will be the perfect time for you. Don't give up!

How long have you been ttc? About 13 mos.
What IUI number was this for you? I had one IUI on a natural cycle, and I think 3 that were medicated.
What medications did you take, if any? I took clomid cd 5-9 on the 1st 2 tries, and then the next time a mistake happened, it was Thanksgiving weekend, and the doc wanted me to come in on Monday to get a refill on my clomid. I couldnt leave my job (teacher) to get there. So, I had to go in the next day and start clomid on cd 6-10. the whole time I was taking it I was like "why am I putting myself through this again (hot flashes, terrible headaches). THen I just started asking God to help me, believeing that He would. My husband and I prayed several times a day.
What CD did you get your BFP? 2 weeks after IUI
Any Advice....Honestly, not trying to sound like a bible-banger, but I believe my prayers were finally answered (and the clomid was finally working). I know how discouraging it is every time you get your period. I was convinced that I was going to need IVF. In fact, when I was getting my script for the clomid, my doc handed me literature about injectables! I was freaking out too, because my insurance does not cover them, and the doc was saying $500-$1,000 per cycle. We would have had to remortage our house! Anywho, I am 5 weeks pregs today and praying now that it sticks and is healthy! Best of luck to all of you. I know and appreciate your struggle.

What IUI number was this for you? Lucky #1!
What medications did you take, if any? I took 50mg clomid cd 3-7.
What CD did you get your BFP? Only 9dpiui!
Any Advice....or things you've learned? Research all you can and definately have patience! Don't be afraid to discuss your options with your dr. GOOD LUCK!!!

I've had 4 iui successes but 2 that ended in early chemical pregnancies. Here are the crazy details!

How long have you been ttc? 3 years and 1 iui w/clomid=DD Kirsten, 2years, 3iui's w/clomid =2 chemical pgs wait one more year and change of doctor: iui and bromocriptine for hormone control=baby #2 due in January 2009!

What IUI number was this for you? 1st one each time with new doctor

What medications did you take, if any? clomid for 4 rounds and bromocriptine 1 round to control prolactin levels

Were you on a different protocol before this? Male factor issues limited our options!

What were your pregnancy symptoms? Both times: metal-mouth, tingly nipples, extreme hunger, creamy cm's and high BBT

What CD did you get your BFP? 1st time 12dpiui, 4th time 8dpiui WOW

Any Advice....or things you've learned? Listen to your doctor, you can POAS all you want, it's your right! Try to remember that it's not up to you and nothing you can do will effect the outcome!
