Nip stim question (x-post)
So, Vivian is still nursing for comfort (which can be off and on all day long if she's feeling bad) and before sleeps and I can feel the contractions every time. How is that likely to impact labor? I understand from some of the things I've read that since you're uterus is used to the oxytocin that it doesn't bring on early labor, but can it make labor go faster once it's started?
A friend of mine who gave birth to her baby in August was nursing up until the day of birth and is tandem nursing now, and she went 9 days past her due date. I wonder if it can really bring on early labor at all, or just speed up labor when it is ready to happen.
