Hi I'm new here, I found SK boards last week and started posting on Femara board since this is my first cycle with it, this will be my 4th cycle doing IUIs. AH! and I'm new with chats so I don't know all the short cuts

I'm 30 and DH 34, TTC since 11/2005, PCOS, started with Clomid on Jul/2006, I Ovulate but have low progest, after 4 or 5 cy just with clomid i did #1 IUI Clomid 150mgCD 5-9+ Metformin 500mg 3xd = BFP on Nov/2006 but MSC

Dec/2006, On Feb and March I took a break and only took the Metformin, on April I did Clomid 150 mg CD5-9+ Metformin 850mg 3xd + IUI#2 +200mg progest 2xd = BFN ,On May just the same with IUI #3 =BFN And now I started with Femara this Sunday 06/16/07 5mg CD 3-7 + Metformin 500 3xd + prenatals + IUI #4 and

that the 4th be the Charm!!! I had just 3 follies on the RO (on the 1st u/s 20mm, 15mm, ?) yesterday, today since the opk was + my Dr gave me an HCG injection and I will do the IUI tomorrow!!!

Celina - I sure hope this 4th is the charm for you. It sounds like you have had a long road, but your follies this month sound great. I am really sending lots of bfp vibes your way. Let us know how it goes.

Hello Celina! It sounds like you've had a rough go of it, but hang in there! I got pg on my 3rd IUI but sadly m/c. My 4th was unsuccesful, and I'm now in the 2ww for the 5th IUI!

Feel free to vent, ask, or comment...these ladies are wonderful I couldn't have gotten this far without their support!!

Tara thanks for the good wishes, everything went out ok so I'm now just starting the 2ww lest see what happens

I'm not sure when you normally take you progesterone. But my last cycle my RE told me to take it 2 or 3 days after I ovulated. Usually they had me start a week later. I'm not sure if this made the difference but he said a week later is too late to start it. I also take 1 aspirin a day and folic acid due to mthfr and prothrombin mutation. with my two mc's i didn't take the aspirin and folic acid.

I also have pcos and took metformin. I think the metformin helped me to ovulate on my own.

Dani, this cycle I'm not taking progesterone, when I was pg I did not took as well because wile taking Metformin My progesterone level is good, the problem is just that if I get pg my Dr will ask me to stop taking Metformin, so I asked them to put me on Progesterone for my last two IUIs, but when they tested my prog was 170!!! And I wasn't pg so... they decided to just start progesterone if I really need so lets see
