Hi,

I am new to this board and this is my first iui. I was on follistim for 8 days following with one ovidrel shot and had my first iui on march 22nd and second one on 24th.

As my progesterone levels are good I did'nt take any supplements. after 14days post IUI, I went for blood work(april 7th & 9th) and my rep said that I am pregnant and she did another bood work after two days and said everything is good and scheduled me for ultrasound after two weeks i.e on april 23rd.

But I dont get any any symptoms yet other than sharp crampin in abdomen area. Is this normal. Will i get my period this month. my last period was on march 12th.

What should I expect for ultrasound. I am confused about how many days i am pregnant.

You would count from the first day of your last menstrual period. Congrats!

You should call your doc and ask them to help you to understand a little better. It sounds like they are not worried though, so you should be fine. The ultrasound will likely be vaginal and usually happens around 6 week. They do it see the heartbeat and confirm that the wee one is in the uterus and how big it is. Good luck!!

Thank you for the reply. I will update you guys after my ultrasound on april 23rd. Twinges are not that sharp everytime. I am having dry in the night. I have to drink water frequently otherwise I cant sleep
well. Is this a symptom .
