Hey ladies! How are you?? I'm looking for a really good fertility doctor in the Nashville area. I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has a recommendation I would greatly appreciate it. Should I interview different ones? I used to live in a place where there was only one option, but in a larger city I know there are several.

Also, I'm considering using an open donor this time. The reason for this is I think I should give my child the option of knowing who his/her father is. I worry about them always wondering, and resenting me. Do you believe open donors are better for the children in the long run, especially since I'm a single mom and at this point I can't promise I will find another father figure for my child. I want to be honest with my child from day one...or at least the first day they're old enough to understand, haha. There seems to be far less option with open donors though. I have used the California Cryobank in the past. Any suggestions on sperm banks with more options maybe?

Ahh...choices, choices. I'm also looking for a new health insurance provider. I know it's difficult to get anything IUI pregnancy related covered, but how about just appointments leading up to everything??

Thanks guys, and I hope you're all having wonderful baby luck and healthy pregnancies!!

Hi! I am not from your area, so I can't help you with who to go to. However I do believe that you should talk to as many clinics as you can. Good luck finding a good fit.
