my 3rd beta...
14 dpiui 64
16 dpiui 119
18 dpiui 190
Does that look ok to you guys?? She said it was fine, it wasn't my regular nurse though, some lady I've never heard of....It rose 60% I think. But due to case history she said, Dr. Brabec wants another one done on Monday just to be sure. Personally, I think it's cause it rose less than the first one.
Honestly, what do you all think?? Be truthful, shouldn't it rising faster or am I ok?? I am hoping it was a late implanter.
I want to thank everyone for holding my hand on this......I truly appreciate each and every one of you!

Re: my 3rd beta...
Hi Angie,
I know we all expect betas to double I think that is the standard thought but I was just googling and everything I'm reading says 48-72 hours and I think you are in that range so I think your beta is rising... maybe a little bit slower than what you are hoping to see but I still think it is a positive sign.
Here is a little blurb I copied
In a bout 85% of normal pregnancies, the hCG level will double every 48 - 72 hours. As you get further along in pregnancy and the hCG level gets higher, the time it takes to double can increase to about every 96 hours.

Re: my 3rd beta...
I think they look okay sweetie - I freaked too when mine were slow rising.... but it all turned out okay When will he do your U/S? I know you cannot see much until 6 weeks, but some docs or REs do them early.
I am praying for you sweetie that your 4th one gives you some peace of mind - the worrying and waiting is terrible
HUGS to you

Re: my 3rd beta...
I am sure everything will be ok Angie.
I would like to share something with you, the one thing you should remember is that we IF girls have WAY more information at our fingertips than "regular" women. I came to this realization on my DIO board when a few women didn't even know what a beta was, let alone what the numbers meant. What I am trying to say is that if you weren't an IF girl, you would be looking forward to the pregnancy, and looking at your pee stick, not worrying about whether a number doubled in 48 hours or it increased by 60% etc.
Please try not to worry, (i know it's harder said than done), but it will drive you crazy. Keep positive thoughts that this little bean is a fighter.

Re: my 3rd beta...
Thank you all so much...I know I've been worrying way too much!
And Janet you're right, most people don't even know what a beta is let alone worry if they double. I guess it's true ignorance is bliss, huh? Some days I wish I didn't know so much about IF, betas and all that nonsense.
My dh has told me tonight it's time now to stop. I'm such a worry wart anyway, w/o having this to deal with. Sometimes he has to talk to me and calm me down and I guess this is one of those times..
I really wouldn't know what I would do without all of you to walk me through this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I'll keep you posted on the beta Monday..
