Hi Ladies-
Well AF is here-YAY-never was so happy to see her-and I pick up my Clomid today. I am concerned about taking Clomid. I ovulate like clock work and I am worried that with the Clomid I am going to have several follies and have twins-triplets-quints-you get the idea. My grandmother was a natural twin so that makes me double at risk.
Has anyone over here been on Clomid even though they ovulate fine?

Had SA on 1/22/2008-found out low sperm count.
2/14/2008-SA analysis again-yep-count still sucked!
2/21/2008-appointment with urologist found varicocile
3/3/2008-Surgery for varicocile-Doctor found TWO varicociles and had the buggers removed.
DH on Clomid for the next 3 months
4/9/2008-DH's testosterone went from 303 to 827!!
June-DH's counts are to 23 million!!
IUI 7/9/08 count 9 mill post wash 7/19/08
7/22/08- BETA 50
7/24/08 BETA 116 8/14/08-First Ultrasound-baby measuring fine and heart beat perfect-RE Is thrilled with results! 8/28/2008-Ultrasound 2-little bean still looks perfect
Hi I am doing an IUI in July. I conceived my first DD on femara which does the same thing as clomid. I ask my RE about multiples and he said my chances are low, in 30 years of practice he has seen maybe 3 sets of twins on femara/clomid. I am doing clomid/IUI/ trigger this cycle. I ovulate fine on my own also and am on clomid , I think they put you on in to increase you chances of conceiving because you produce more follicles. We do IUI's becaue my CM in bad. RE switch me to clomid this cycle becasue I get bad migranes on femara. Well good luck this cycle!! Lots of baby dust to ya!

Thanks for the reply. I got my clomid today so I guess it's game on. When do you think your IUI will be?
I don't have a trigger to do (I don't think) My RE just wants me to do OPK until I get a positive and then I head his way the next day.
What is all this that I hear you are supposed to BD 2 nights before? My RE didn't tell me this!

I've tried Clomid but am now on Femara. I do ovulate on my own; just using Femara for an extra push. I'll be doing IUIs this month too. Keep us posted on your updates. Baby dust!!

Thanks for the congrats-I hadn't checked this thread in so long.
I don't know how many follies I had, we were dealing with MFI and supposedly there is nothing wrong with me so they didn't monitor me.
I was on Clomid for 5 days.
I'm excited as I didn't think it had worked. I'm waiting on my second beta and if it's good then I'll get really excited.
