IUI today...how long?

hi girls

i am going in for my first IUI in a few hours... i triggered thursday night... although i am going to "try" really hard to behave myself...and not be a poas addict again this month... i was wondering how long it takes for the trigger shot to be out of your system? is it 10 days?

I would say 10 days.

Hi,

i had iui last monday so im 5dpiui, my consultant said it takes 8-10 days to get out of your system, I like you became a poas addict( 3 tests a day from day 9 to day 15) last month and hurt so bad when i got af on 13 dpiui.

Be strong! its hard!

Im determined not to test till im 12 dpiui (friday).............i dont know if ill hold out as my pharmacy has a special offer on first response tests!

I would say 10 days as well.

I don't recommend poas before 12 dpiui anyway. It drags it way out....haha

Hi, Jenn. This past cycle I POAS 10dpiui (which was 12 days past trigger) and got a BFN so I knew it was already out of my system. I'm bound and determined to wait this time until I'm actually late. I hope you have first-timers luck!

hahahhaha - i am not giving myself too much credit.... i am already counting the days until i can poas.... i triggered thursday... so it won't be out of my system until a week from tomorrow... which puts me at only 8dpiui... so that is too early... soooo.... i figured i test 2 days before my beta... which will be a week from thursday....

ok.... with the above explanation.... LOL... i have a definite poas problem!!!!!

toni - good luck!!!! how are you feeling?

my iui went good - dh had a 24 million count. the nurse couldn't get the catheder in....so after a few tries... she called in a different nurse... and she got it in with no problem.

i was VERY crampy this morning before the IUI... and am feeling the same now.

all in all - it went well

can't wait until the 28th

That is a great amount of sperm. I'm glad it all went well. It looks like we'll all get to obsess together. Go swimmers!!!

Hi jenn,

Thanks for asking, im feeling fine, little mad symptons, but this month unlike last month ive done the pessaries and i swear they are making a difference im not cramping like i was last month.

Scared , nervous, all the usual.

Im getting a puppy if this attempt dont work so i can take my mind off things ( and have something to spoil and nurture and hold and love up) while i prepare for ivf.

I so all us 2ww'ers have luck this month.

good luck to us all, the sun is shining in london i went to a lovley picnic an am now snuggling up to dh watching boxing.............life is good ........hopefully it will get better.
