Can you tell me if an IUI is helpful for someone with only one open tube? I have no other fertility problems other than only one tube and lack of cm from Clomid.
During an IUI, do you get 1 or 2 sperm injections per cycle?
I do not see why it would not help!! I guess it would depend on if the other tube is working well and producing good follies....As long as thaat is happening I do not see why IUI would not work...It may take some trys but that is true for almost all of us!
My prtotcols all 3 times were btb IUI's I did 2 all 3 times....you would have to see what your RE's protocol would be...
Well I have 2 tubes but my left ovary is attached to my ureter so they were not sure if an egg would make it to my uterus and I have done IUI with success.
I just had my 5th IUI on Friday (8/24). I don't ovualte regularly. As long as you have a follie on the side with the functioning tube, you should be fine. I have been with two different practices, and neither does btb IUIs. So, I always has one IUI, 36 hours after my trigger shot. Good luck with everything!
