Hello,
I had a tubal reversal in September 06'. I had a HSG in March that showed my right tube blocked and left tube open. We've been trying on our own but I was going to see the RE this month, if af shows.
I wanted to get information about IUI's. Are IUI's helpful for someone like me with only one tube? Has anyone here gotten pregnant with only one open tube? I wasn't sure if the RE would start me on clomid for a couple of cycles then move to IUI...all I know is that we're going to put all our efforts into ttc because I'm getting nervous about my age; dh is 34, I'm 38.
Any suggestions or advise would be appreciated.

good luck! I can't offer too much re: the conditions you listed. But your RE will review everything and should provide their recommendation based on how aggressive you want to be. Feel comfortable asking a million questions--because that's what they are there for.

hi

i only have one tube - because of an ectopic pregnancy - my RE put me on clomid for 2 months.... if this month doesn't work - we are going to try IUI's.

i have a friend that just got pregnant with one tube - she wasn't taking any meds or seeing an RE - and she got pregnant the 2nd try.... so it is definitely possible!
