I've already posted this in the 2ww board, but thought I'd get some encouragement from my IUI ladies.

For some reason I took an Internet Cheapie test today...at 6dpiui.

I was CRUSHED when it came back BFN. I KNEW it was too early, but I guess I just felt like maybe it would be nice to get a BFP on Easter Sunday. I feel like now that I've gotten that BFN today, I'm out for sure.


Someone tell me theres still hope.

oh, I would say it's probably just too early to get a BFP. I can definately understand your wanting to get one on Easter Sunday, though. I haven't heard of too many people that test positive at 6 dpiui as usually implantation doesn't even occur until 6 to 10 days post ovulation. And then you need a day or two for the hcg in your blood to build up enough to trigger an hpt. I'm sure you know all of this but I'm just trying to reassure you that a BFN today means absolutely nothing. Try to stay positive still and I will be praying you get that BFP in another few days. I would say don't test again until 10 dpiui, if you can hold out that long! I know it's hard! Good luck sweetie.

I'm new to IUI but i'm with the last poster - probably way too soon so i wouldn't worry - GL!!! and you could try staying busy / anything to keep your mind off until it's closer to the of the 2ww to test

I agree with the other girls! Even the early tests are only designed to read a positive at 9 dpo at the very earliest! Test again in a couple days and let us know how it turns out for you.

Yup, the earliest tests say "4 days before your missed period" which would be at least 10 days post iui. Give yourself a little break....I've tested that early too "just because" try to hang in there, the earliest BFP I've ever heard of was day 8. Try again on thursday or friday if you can hang in there!
