This may be a long shot, but my clinic takes July off for all fertility treatments. We are doing IUI with donor sperm. I'm 37 and don't want to miss a month, so I'm contemplating on ordering a ICI specimen and doing it at home .....well my husband would actually do it. Does anybody have any experience with this or know anyone who has done it?

I think I have to get my doctor's permission to have it delivered to my home, but I'm not sure where I'm going to get the instructions on thawing and actually using all of the equipment.

Really all you can do at home is IVI which is just like BD withou the fun To thaw the sample ( I learned this at our last iui) you take the sample out of the shipper and let it rest for about 30 minutes and then you are good to go! Hope that helps!
