Oh. My. God. I am absolutely freaking OUT. I tested two days ago @ 13dpiui and got a faint line on 3 different dollar tree pregnancy tests. I thought for sure my eyes were playing tricks on me. Yesterday I got more faint lines on about 3 more tests and then today another faint line on H.E.B. early response tests and a "pregnant" result on a clear blue easy digital so I called my RE's office to schedule a beta and it's positive!!! I wasn't able to get labs drawn until 4 and I thought for sure that I'd have to wait in agony over the weekend but they ordered STAT on my results and a doctor from L&D called me at 7:30 this evening saying that it is a 69 @ 15dpiui. Anyone know anything about beta numbers? Is that normal? I have cried all day, I can't even articulate all of the emotions racing through my head. But I know that all of you totally understand that and when I'm here I'm not alone.

Our IUI Miracle Alexa Rae 9/08/06!!

Second beta is 227! I am over the moon! I was surprised to learn that I don't need another beta, I guess until my 1st ultrasound appointment which will be on May 19th. My nurse said that once you are over 100 and numbers are rising as they should then I'm good to go. I'm a little nervous to not know anything at all for the next 3 weeks-yikes!

Also, what is your opinion/philosophy on revealing your pregnancy to friends/co-workers/etc.? Is it too early? Should I wait? I certainly haven't been keeping it a secret but I'm also being supersticious, I don't wanna jinx anything! Thank you, girls!

Jenny this was just me but you know that I had a M/C and the part that was worse than having it was people coming up to me weeks later congratulating me on my pregnancy when I had M/C. This last time I had 3 faithful friends that knew and were my support and once I got past 12 wks I slowly starting telling people. I was nearly 20 wks before I was really telling folks. and the funny part is that people thought that it was a rumor till I said yes.

Also just being paranoid I didnt buy anything for the baby till after I was 24 wks along and knew I had a chance to bring home my son if he came early. That was Christmas for me and it was great making it there.

You must do what you feel like you want to do though in the end
