Estrace Question

Hi all I am new to IUI, but having one this week, we did Clomid 3 through 7 CD 100mg I am 42 with FSH issues.

I have 2 follies 14mm and 15mm I have under 4.5mm lining they Rx's 1mg Estrace at bedtime.

I started 2mg cos I have extra, and am worried about lining.

In Feb I had a failed fresh cycle using DE-DS, cos lining was only 5.7mm using even more Estrace for a couple of weeks.

I also took 1mg orally yesterday and 1mg today.

Any thoughts or help PLEASE???

U/S is Thursday to check for eggs and follie size.

for my last 3rd IUI cycle, they'd added Estrace to my cycle because my lining during my 2nd IUI cycle had measured at 4.6. I think I started Estradiol on day 9 and continued it until the beta test. My lining went from 5 to 8 by the time of the ovulation.

MY re had said they liked to see the lining to be above 7, but that 6-7 was okay.
I don't know if that's helpful to you at all.

Hello-
GL with your IUI cycle! I have had lining issues in the past, and took estrace too. It helped sometimes for me. I don't know if if really worked, but I read about grapefruit juice helping. I drink the stuff all the time before ovulation. I have had good lining ever since. My lining last cycle without estrace was a 10. So, I don't know if science will support it, but it seems to do something for me, besides it is good for you!
