driving me crazy

Ok...I told myself that I would keep my mind busy during this 2ww, but it seriously feels like the days are taking FOREVER to go by

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oct 15th seems like its sooo far away. And these shots in the butt each night, is a pain in the @ss..literally. I can only do them on the right cheek because I am right handed. And lets say my right cheek is hurtin

!

I'm so sorry Heather, IMO the waiting is the WORST! Try to hang in there if you can....I know it's hard.

Cheer up - the 2 week wait will seem like a breeze compared to the 40 week wait! One of the negative aspects of fertility treatment is that we put ourselves in a continual hurry up and then wait pattern. Always waiting for the other shoe to drop, being afraid to be positive and enjoy the moment. Or to enjoy the things in life that have nothing to do whatsoever with our fertility treatment. I've wasted a year of my life obsessing about getting pregnant. Each time I underwent fertility treatment it consumed me mentally and physically. The one thing that has helped is that my best friend always reminds me that statistically it takes the average person undergoing fertility treatment a full year to get pregnant - so to expect instant gratification is unrealistic.

I know how hard this is and how it can feel like a solitary battle. But try to muster up some faith and focus your energy on doing things that will actively take your mind and attention off the fertility process. Even if it means going to a movie every night for the next week. That's two full hours a day that you are not thinking about getting pregnant. Those two hours will go a long way towards your emotional well being.

Thanks girls. I am trying to not let it get to me. This is my first 2ww, so it's been rough. And its true...I don't want to be to negative or positive about the whole thing. Until I see a negative or positive.

I'm doing good. This week has been dragging, but the 15th is just around the corner. I have had some spotting on and off for 3 days. But I have been told that can be normal. So I am just waiting, waiting and waiting...
