Do you test before the BETA?

Hi! If you test before the BETA how early do you do it?

I am 9dpiui and I am thinking about trying tomorrow.

I tested before my beta..... A lot of girls test around 10dpiui and get BFP!!

I never had a beta! Just with the + hpt!

Like I said before...I tested 10piui and got a super faint +...because I never saw a + before on a test...I didn't know what to think...I thought maybe it was an evaporation line or something... he he he!

So I waited until 13dpiui...just to make sure!

I say if you have the tests just sitting around...go for it!

I DID I was POAS queen Bee!!!!! If you do poas then I recomend First responce....I tested with a digatal first and got a bfn...then when I realized it was not an early detection test the I RAN to the drug store and got FR and got a Bfp.......

My dr. only did a Beta if I wanted one, but I am an anti-POAS gal. We tried for 18 months and did 6 IUI's that all failed, we ended up getting pregnant on a rest cycle before injectables.

With that said: For me, it was way easier to just wait a few extra days and only test once. In the beginning I loved testing 10 dpo but would get my hopes up that "it was just too early" and test again. Heartbreak twice in one month got to me too much. I found that waiting till 14 dpo (or dpiui) and testing then was best for me. I was certain that it was accurate and I only had to see that one line once a month....unutil I saw two

Do what works for you!! There are TONS of POAS addicts here...I dunno how you gals do it! Made of stronger stuff than me

Thanks for the feedback. I was going POAS this morning, but I chickened out.

I just couldn't do it. So, now I am going to wait and do it again tomorrow. I assume that first morning is still the best time. Wish me luck for 11dpiui girls!

my RE always suggested not to test before 14 dpo because even though you could be pregnant, it may be too early to tell...

so when I had a beta scheduled, I would hold out as long as possible.
