Icon9 Dark red blood

This can't be good. (TMI warning..) This morning after getting up twice to pee with nothing on the TP, the third time there was dark red blood (enough to cause concern) mixed with the same stringy brown stuff I've been having. Is this an early period? Does implantation bleeding ever change color and amount? Is it a miscarriage? Whatever it is, it does not seem like things are okay in there. I have a call in to my nurse about it. I sure didn't see this coming. I'm scared.

Laura, all I can tell you is try to keep calm....this could be alot of things so please try not to panic. Easy for me to say I know. I had a friend who had heavy bleeding while pg, (at 10 weeks) and the doctors thought for sure she must have missaried but let me tell you, she has a beautiful little girl turning 4 in May. Sometimes our bodies (especially with all the extra hormones we are on) build up too much blood and needs to shed it. As was in my friends case.

Call the nurse and find out for sure though so you know what you're up against! KUP!

Thanks. More blood now. Still no call from the nurse. It's not looking good at all.

Just breathe, like Chrissy said, it could be lots of things. I know easier said than done. Just try not to panic and keep us posted on the what the nurse says. Oh I meant to ask how long are your cycles usually and is this your first time using injectibles? Sorry if you said and I missed it. Let us know sweetie, we are ALL pulling for ya!!

The office is closed until 1:30, so I should hear something soon.

The blood is red now, not brown, so that is what scares me.

My cycles are usually 30 days on average. And this is the first time with injectables. I started with the brown spotting cd 22-24 and the red today, cd25. Really early for me.
