hi girls

i hope you all are doing well

i am on cd 7 - taking gonal f injections (started on day 2)... getting ready from my first IUI....

i went in for an ultrasound today.... on cd 7 - i have a 16.5, 12.5 and 1 under 10 in my right ovary....(my tubeless side)... and a 14.5, 13 and 10 in my left ovary....

my uterine lining is only at 6.5

i will hear my instructions from the nurse on what is next later this afternoon...just wondering what you thought...

could my IUI be tomorrow or thursday????

do you think the 14.5 follie has a chance??? (i need it to catch up)

could my uterine lining be to weak for this to work??? (i know they like to see it at 8)

i am really nervous.... as you can tell.

Hi,

I so hope it goes well for you,

I had iui monday, on the friday i had trigger,
My follies were 16, 22, 26 ,
so maybe theyll let you wait till thursday, i also had to take extra gonal f .
I was so amazed at how fast they grew towards the end, they say 1 - 2mm a night but mine shot up at 3mm at least.

My RE wouldn't trigger unti there was a lead follie atleast size 18.

good luck girl - i hope the 2ww goes by FAST for you!!!!!

i am so anxious to find out what they want me to do next. i should know by 2:00pm....

i am sort of hoping.... no.... i am praying that they up my meds today.... and i can have the IUI by thursday.

i am just conerned about my uterine lining....and i sure pray that 14.5 egg catches up and works for us.

ok - i am sooooo confused.....

i just got a call from the nurse........ she wants me to DOUBLE my meds today - back in tomorrow for bloodwork and an ultrasound...

ok - so - i have the 16.5, 12.5 in the right...and the 14.5, 13 and 10 in the left....

i am on cd 7

she told me that she thinks my IUI will be on day 12-14?????

i said "what"?

if i wait that long.... it will be too late... she said i might go as early as day 10?

then i asked what they consider a mature egg... she said... 15mm

but i am already there? AND they are doubling my meds?????

HELP

i am thinking my IUI will be thursday??????

Hey,

Im on pretty much the same regime as you!
I started the pessaries yesterday they are meant to help the lining.

Im in england but the distant doesnt matter we are all in the same boat.

this is some mad universal problem we are so lucky that our countries have made it easy for us to get help in this.

Hey, Jenn. Glad to see you're moving along and getting closer to pregnancy! I've noticed from the boards that different RE's have different philosophies of treatment, which makes sense since everyone's body is different. Anyway, my RE doesn't do a baseline ultrasound. In fact, my ultrasounds this past cycle and my current cycle have been scheduled for cd12. I had 4 follies measuring between 17-20.6. My last (and failed) cycle of injectables/IUI I triggered on cd13 and had the IUI on cd15 and we had to abstain starting cd12. Just like you, I was SO insanely worried that we were going to miss it but it turns out I O'ed on the day of the IUI (cd15). If I remember correctly, my RE says that follicles are mature and ready for the trigger when they reach 18 mm but not until then. But I'm on different injectables than you so I'm not sure how comparable our cycles are. I'm starting to wonder why I'm on Repronex instead of the Gonal F... I wonder how the success rates differ. I think the Nurse is just guessing when you will go.
