Is anyone else affected?

by the progesteron suppositories?? I don't just mean the ickiness, I can handle that, but only hours after my first dose yesterday as usual, I was so nauseous eating was nearly impossible. Then last night the mood swings hit, not to mention the utter exhaustion! But honestly the worst thing is it's making my hoo ha (sorry) raw already! It's like putting an acid tablet up there I swear!

I'm just curious if anyone else has this problem? Maybe it's b/c my new pharmacy compounds them in house and it's a different formula. I don't remember the other ones (rx'd by a different doc way back when) did this to me.

I hate to be a baby. Really. This is what I want right? But it's painful among other things. Makes dtd not so much fun either.

Please girls....tell me honestly...do I just need to stop whining already and suck it up? Or are you guys affected as well? lol

Angie my experience while on them was that they burned after a couple
of days.....and I actually bled "spotted pink" while on them as well.
Doc said they are irritating to the inside of vagina. Sometimes I had to
take sitz baths from the burning. I was very tired and moody for sure.
Plus I was on prometrium 3 pills a day........talk about overload
my prog supps were 400mg each one in the am and one in the pm.
and talk about leaking YUK.

I was as well. I hated taking them for for many reasons. I asked my RE if I could go on prometrium instead. That's what I'm taking now.

Thanks ladies....I've already asked to take the pills instead and they said no. I just have to deal w/ it I guess!

I experienced the rawness you describe. My doctor had me take the prometrium orally when I reported this (he said it was a result of the compound). The next month we skipped it altogether and instead I took a half shot of ovidrel six days post IUI. The downside being that the two week wait becomes a three week wait - but I'd rather be patient than itchy.
