2ww using Follistim & HCG

Had our 1st IUI February 13. Got sick on the 15th (hope that was a good sign)

I haven't been feeling any kind of sign except sore breast, just don't know if its from the meds or way so i am laid back because i don't want to worry (yeah right). Is anyone in there 2ww and having any symptoms? Trying not to stress, but having a hard time.

Not currently in the middle of a cycle. Go back to the RE on March 4th to start TTC again. Just wanted to jump in and say good luck!

Hello. I had my first IUI with Follistim and HCG last month. It didn't work and was a very tricky cycle in that I was totally convinced that it worked and I actually started my period way early. I am on my second cycle and will probably get my IUIs this weekend, so not in the 2ww yet, but I hear you on the stress. I just started accupuncture and it seems to help me. That and deep breathing. Hang in there and I really hope you get your BFP this cycle!!

Did you have any type of symptoms that would have lead you to believe you were pregnant? I have been tired for the last past couple of days and i had what i would think to be heartburn yesterday. This is a long cycle for because the first dose of Follistim didn't work so i stop for a day and began the new dose the day after (this is like cycle day 36). I hope we all have our miracles this month!!!

I had them all, just about, except for sore boobs. I was dizzy, nauseous, exhausted, had prominent veins, and even the tugging feeling in the uterus. I find it hard to believe that it was all psychosomatic. I asked my RE and she said that Follistim can mimic pg symptoms. It is really cruel. But pg symptoms are also similar to AF symptoms too, so you can just never tell. Although some people have "just known" and were right. So, basically you just have to wait and see all the time. It is definitely exciting and it is more fun to be hopeful than to be scared. Again, good luck this cycle. Sorry for the bummer of a story, but that is the way it happened. I hope it is different for you and you get your BFP.

well I had an IUI a couple of days ago. So I am right there with you. I am trying not to stress to much and keep busy so that I don't have the urge to POAS every 5 mins. Thank God I only have one test in the house at this time so that I don't want to waste it. If I can just make it until 12 dpo I will be ok.

Having a bunch of little projects will help pass the time by. Right now I am making Chocolate Chip cookies.

Hope the next couple of weeks goes by fast for you.

Well, well, after all the waiting i started my cycle yesterday

. I really can't say that i'm mad just upset because i kind of expected this not to be the cycle. This only gives me more ammo to keep on going because i know i will become pregnant it's just going to take some time (I keep telling myself).
