Got back from visiting my grandfather last night and this morning I got a bfp.
It is pretty light, but darker than with the chemical pregnancy last month. I can't figure out how to attach pictures without using a url. I don't have any kind of image hosting and have no idea how to do it. If someone knows how, let me know. In the meantime, I am excited but reserved after what I went through last month. The beta is tomorrow, that should help me know how to feel. I'm really not sure how to feel at this point but can't help but feel pangs of excitement. Unlike last time, I have no spotting. So that's good I guess.
My husband had thyroid cancer about 4 years ago and all of his yearly scans since the treatment have been negative. He has another scan this month and will be radioactive for a couple of months, so we were going to have to take a complete break for 2 months. How nice would it be if we didn't have to worry about it?
So, there you have it. I will just be sitting with all of this until some time tomorrow. Sigh. Yippee?

I was just thinking about you actually! That looks like a BFP to me!! I can't wait till you go for the beta! You must be so excited! I am sure excited for you!!! Try not to go nuts while you wait!
Thanks everyone. I called my nurse and she told me to get the bloodwork today. So I did that around noon and should have the results by the end of the day today. I'll be sure and post when I hear something. Keeping my fingers crossed...

It's official. The beta was an 88.
The nurse says that is great for being on 13dpiui. She has no concerns and said my progesterone is 41.3. She said that the doc will probably have me do another test in a week but I will probably beg to do one sooner. I am so happy and yet still so scared. I really hope that this little fella hangs on tight and I get to see him or her in 9 months. I could really use some sticky vibes. Thank you all for your support and kind words.

Laura that is such great news! I've been checking every day to see if you've posted and yesterday I didn't and look what I miss. Wow, I'm so happy for you. Thank you all for your congrats. Keep those sticky vibes coming! My doc wants me to have a beta done again tomorrow so that we have a 4 week count. Then she wants me to to it every week so we have a 5 week, etc. I am also supposed to stay on the prog. for a while just to be safe, which I am glad to hear since I would worrry if I stopped. I'll be sure to post tomorrow's numbers even though it might not be enough time for doubling (2 days not 3).
Lena, how was the ultrasound? Did you hear the heartbeat? I am anxious for an update on you.

Laura, that has to be a relief that your doctor wants to get the blood work done so often. You'll be reassured each week and maybe take a little of the stress off of worrying. I worry every day that something is going to happen but my DH keeps trying to calm me down and tell me that whatever is going to happen will happen. At this point I just try to be as healthy as I can and do everything right and hope for the best. Well, we only saw the heartbeat at our 1st ultrasound. My 2nd is scheduled for Friday morning and we hope to be able to hear it then. I'll try to post as soon as I can. My in-laws are coming into town that day and then we are heading out of town and won't be back until Sunday. So I might not get to post until then. I can't wait to hear what you're next numbers are. How exciting!
