That is the main reason I like sticking with low carb. I have a MAJOR sweet tooth and it gets me into a loootttta trouble. I was at the point where I knew it was an addiction and I wanted to get control and low carb was the way. When I was on low-fat (most of my life) I loved it becasue I could eat all the sugar I wanted, so cheating would ensue quite often.
My husband is diabetic and I see cutting out sugar as not only a great way to stay on top of my weight control, but also as a partnership with him.
My favorite low-carb dessert right now:
sliced strawberries sprinkled with splenda, blueberries and then topped off with a bit of heaving whipping cream. Berries and cream, d'lish!!
