Looks like the low carb craze is out now! Although at one point I had lost 60 lbs!

Hi Pam, Happy New Year.

So are you still doing low carb? I followed Atkins for a couple of years actually but have been off it now for about 8 months or so. Wanting to get back on but just can't seem to get motivated. I actually fell across this board that I had forgotten all about so maybe...

its been the only way ive been able to lose weight. i joined WW back in jan.. ive been on it for 6 weeks and have only lost 2lbs!! guess what my leader is having me do? she said to cut out the breads, pasta and sugars lol. i should anyways because the breads and pastas do make me sick (you would think that would make it a lot easier, but it doesnt). so now im doing WW... low carb style!

same here, it isn't easy to get started b/c you face cravings for both sugar and bread, lol. BUT after 3 days you are in total control. I've had to restart as I had dessert with a girlfriend and have been craving sugar ever since... but that's what it's about getting back on the horse, eh?

Do you notice your mind working better with all the protein? I feel so much more alert when going w/o bread and pasta. It is so easy to just "get full and forget about food" with carbs, but then I feel like a sloth. Just wonderin'

im all together feeling better when im low carb. im either a person that overdoes it with the carbs, or ill cut the bad ones out (i love fruits and veggies). its just a matter of getting the mind set that im going to do it. i think im going to do WW with the low carb again. i just have to get myself back to there. id like to find my energy again! oh and stop being so ditzy (can carbs help that though?)
