Icon10 Weekly Chatter (July 21 - July 27)

How is everyone doing? Any weight loss from this past week you wanted to share? Any plans for the coming week?

I plan on upping my workout schedule. On saturday i was considering running....but, after a fast paced walk outside and some pelvic floor pain, i was glad i am just walking for another 3 weeks. I just wish i had a time to do it. With a very active 3 and a 1/2 yr old and a baby...it is hard to coordinate a napping time. Leah does try to eliminate those naps...but, i have to keep her busy to make her worn out. DH does a good job when he is home...but hte weekdays its just me. *sigh*...maybe i will walk her to the park and do what he does...but, then i have to fit in a workout for me too....lordy...it is hard to fit in a workout with 2 kids...God bless those who can!

Sorry I have been MIA the last couple of weeks! I have been so busy its wearing me out!
I have not lost anymore weight but the 1 lb I had gained back is gone now so basically im just maintaining right now. With everyone being so sick lately and the in laws being here for a while recently and a few other things that have been going on have worn me out. So im hoping that by next monday I will be able to start back into the exercise routine I had before and watching my calories again.
GL on the weight loss girls!

Just took a look at the weekly challenge info Sarah! Looks great! I'll be ready to start back up the first full week in August! I'm excited about that. One question regarding the 5 fruits/veggies and the staying within your points - Can you get those 5 points each day or can you only take that once a week? Would you think any less of me if I didn't read something and get confused? LOL

Can't believe you're within 2 weeks of your section! I know you are ready to meet little Christian. Do you have everything all "boyed up" for his arrival? Can't wait to see him.

Keep working hard ladies you are doing well and don't let little set backs get the bes tof you!

Shannon I think it was 5 servings per day but I will have to check again.

Thanks for asking after me as well. I am sooo looking forward to meeting my little man! 12 days left and counting! I am however not looking forward to the recovery from my c/s! Ah well it's all worth it in the end. I am going to start WW 2 weeks PP and then my exercise will follow at 6 weeks PP. I will do my best to get things back up and running the first few weeks of Aug or of you want to help me out let me know. A lot of it will depend on how things go with the new baby and how Linds deals with the whole situation!

I will do my best to help out during that first 2-3 weeks that you are home adjusting and beginning your recovery. Just email me and let me know what all I need to do to help out.

UGH, sorry I've been missing too! I just can't seem to catch up, and I only have 3 boards here! I haven't been to the gym in awhile, but I haven't regained anything. In fact, I went on vacation below 200 lbs, just like my goal, and I stayed below, only gaining 0.2 lbs. I might have already posted that, but I can't remember. Sorry if I'm repeating!

Sarah, So close to your c-section, I hope your recovery goes well!

Megan, I hope everything works out so that you can get back going on Monday!

Yes, it's hard to work out with 2 kids, even harder w/3. I think that's why I haven't made it to the gym for awhile. Jarrett has changed his nursing times so when I could nurse him at 9 and leave the house for the gym, he has that all messed up. Now he's getting up earlier and nursing off and on until 11. That makes it awefully hard to get anything done! I hope you can find some time to get some good workouts in. I think walking is a great plan. Do you take the kids w/you usually? I have a double jogging stroller that I will get back out once Kaden starts Kindergarten in the fall. He's not that great on his bike and that's the only thing that he knows how to ride. We made it to the end of the block once on his scooter and I had to pull it back to the house because he was tired of riding it!

Morning all! Just checking in to get myself back in the habit of stopping in and seeing how everyone is doing. I figure the eating right part of the weekly challenge will be my first thing to get into place. Not sure how the exercise portion will fit in for me just yet. Ava is SO demanding. Thankfully I have a baby gate that I can put in the doorway to keep her isolated in her room with a video or toys. So that may be my ticket to at least getting the 1 mile express walk workout in and perhaps a few crunches/leg lifts/arm exercises. Boy have aI seen a big difference in the appearance of my legs and arms since I stopped working out during my pregnancy. They aren't really bigger, just soft and jiggly. Time to get those puppies toned back up.

Hope everyone has a great day today and that you are all able to meet your goals for the day - whether they be eating healthy or getting that workout in! You can do it! Remember even if you don't get it ALL in, anything you do in the right direction is better than sitting on your duff and doing nothing! You Go Girls!
