Icon6 Remember Me?

Playing catch up with grading and posting grades to the computer has been eating up all my extra time, that and trying to have a little quality time with my girls once I get home each day from work. My greetings make having to be away from them all day worthwhile. Their little smiles melt my heart. I haven't exercised in over 2 weeks, but haven't gained any weight back. I'm very easily in a size 12 in all pants and large or medium tops depending on the cut of the shirt. I am hoping that after giving my body this extended break, that if I can at least get in 3 good workouts this next week I can jumpstart my weight loss again and work up from there.

I feel bad that I haven't been around all week and only limited involvement the past two. I hope you ladies can forgive my slacking and I will do my best to do better. On the upside, my room is 100 yards from the copy room, so I'm making that treck at least 3 times each day at work and I power walk it when I have to go there. The workroom - where we have lunch - is 50 yards from my room and the library and computer labs are over 100 yards from my room (computer lab happens twice a week and library once a week), so I am getting some walking in during the day. I'm thinking of getting a pedometer to keep track of that daily walking, so I don't get depressed about my activity. I know those trecks have helped to keep the calories burned off during the day.

I am steering clear of the cafeteria foods and I'm sure that is a good thing. I must be burning all those cals off each day, because I get home at 4 pm just famished and that never happened when I was at home just chasing the girls around. I'm also on my feet all day with only occasional sit down times, so that makes a difference as well. I look forward to getting back on board. Going to try to check out the dailies from this past week and see what you have all been up to.

Sarah, I hope you are nearing your goal before that upcoming wedding! I know you are excited that you are in the less than a month countdown (if I remember correctly).

TTYL
