if I fatally hurt a Dollar Tree worker?
Sheesh. I hate dumb people.
So I know I am an addict and most normal people don't buy a kazillion pregnancy tests but does the lady really need to say, "I had 7 kids and I never had to worry".
I swear if I didn't have Caden with me I may have hit her over the head with the cash register. Instead I just said, "Yeah, well, we're not all that lucky" You dumb b**** - Ok that part was in my head, but...

After that fun I went to Target to get some FRER. I figure the more tests I take the more chances of a positive. Flawed logic or what??????

You know, I never understand why random people feel the need to comment - it isn't like you ASKED for her input! I think until people walk in our shoes, they have no idea. I'd have done the same thing as you . . . . but probably would have said what I was thinking out loud! GL with your testing . . .

My approach has always been, if they open up things that they shouldn't, then give them enough info to make them uncomfortable for asking. I've had cashiers ask about the number of pg tests that I have and how "a line is a line" and I have just said things like, "well, for me I usually miscarry pretty early, so watching to see if that line gets darker helps me to prepare myself for another loss." I usually just say it in a matter-of-fact way and grab my bags of groceries, leaving them sorry that they asked, and me happy that I might have shut up another dumb fertile in the world!

You should have went into the long drawn out process of IVF and how much time, energy, money and PAIN it took to get Caden here! And then after that explain the WHOLE process to her from stimming to ER and ET!!

That would probably shut her right up and maybe, Just MAYBE she might think twice before opening her mouth!!!

You guys are so right. Maybe tomorrow morning I should go back, I'll let Lynn hold her down while I smack her and then I'll tell her all about the long drawn out process of IVF and infertility and how we have to go thru heartache and stress to have children - nevermind countless needles in the a**. That's it! I should show her my butt bruises. That ought to teach her.
So who wants to go with me tomorrow?
And, Renee, you're not bitter - you're are just doing MUCH needed venting. You can bang her head against the wall after I smack her:-)

Some people are just so stupid and don't know when to keep their mouth shut. I've had my share of dumb comments when buying my tests from $ tree. I think there's an IQ limit when applying to work there.

I finally came up with a response to the "why so many tests?" comments/looks. I say I work at Planned Parenthood. It shuts them up and I can walk away with 25 tests without looking/feeling like a complete addict.
