When to do FET?

I'm sure this question has been asked and answered million times, but here I go one more time.
I had a fresh IVF cycle in April, which, as many of you know, resulted in a blighted ovum, I was given Cytotec last week, on the 20th, and had a M/C, from that cycle I had 3 embryos on ice for future use.
My question is when is ok to do a FET?, I'm itching to jump right on the horse once again, the Dr. said initially that after six weeks we could try again, but is that six weeks after the first "period" even if it was a M/C? or six weeks after the "real" period? And six weeks means to start Lupron, or BCP?
Again guys I know it's a tedious question and I will ask my doctor, but every time I see him It's like the questions flight out of my head and I get content with any answer he gives me even if I didn't understand it.

I imagine it is six weeks after the m/c. But I could be wrong.

Just hope you are able to start soon.

Not Sure About The Whole Period Things But I Do Know That You Have To Wait For Your Beta To Drop Completely. They Should Test You A Few More Times To Make Sure That It Continues To Drop.

I would assume the period that follows your m/c which is about 4-8 weeks post m/c would be ok to cycle. It took me 8 weeks to get a period post m/c via d&c.

Same here, my AF took FOREVER to come after my losses. My RE always let me cycle again after I got my next AF because I have to suppress mid-cycle so technically, I dont start my cycles until 2 weeks after AF. I think if I remember correctly, you did Lupron last time right? So I'd assume once you get AF, you might either get put back on BCP or start your Lurpon shortly after, that is if you're doing a medicated FET.

I know it all stinks, Ainara and its like one minute you dont want to jump back into it and the next minute you'd rather wipe the slate clean and just 'get back on the horse'.

And BOY do I relate to hanging up or leaving a visit with your head spinning! I try to write down my questions so that I make sure that I get what I need to get an answer!

Listen to your doctor but more importantly FOLLOW YOUR HEART!! Your day will come girly!

Oh Rene, I sure hope so, this experience has been so heartbroken..... I hope next time we have better luck, and I think this will be my last try at an IVF cycle in the States, we have insurance which covers 80% of three IVFs and still we are out more than six thousand dollars!!, My husband, he has Croatian citizenship as well as American, and in Europe infertility treatments are cover 100% up to six times, you just need to have a job of course and papers, so since all his family is there we could go and get a job doing anything, since everybody has almost the same benefits regardless of the work they do, we would have health insurance right away and then would attempt IVF in Croatia.

Ainara - Can you call your nurse and ask about timing? I had the discussion multiple times because I was so eager to get moving again

Don't worry about being a pest--you need the information.
And the idea to write your questions down is a good one. I do that and then DH makes sure they get asked because I turn into a quivering blob. heehee

After our blighted ovum I had to wait for my beta to get back to 0 (which took FOREVER) and then once I got my period again I went in for baselines.
