Venting

So today at work, we have 2 huge receptions going on. I was in charge of all of the planning for the 2nd one, setting up included. EVERYONE knows what I'm going through right now but its amazing to me how they're STILL asking me to carry sandwich trays and stuff. The few people around here who DO have a clue are pitching in because, well to put it simply, they can think beyond themselves!!!

I'm just so frustrated at the lack of compassion showed by some of my co-workers, my supervisor included! Im not asking for anyone's life to stop, or for anyone to baby me or pity me, but have some respect for what I'm going through and realize that I really need to be taking it easy right now!!

If my DH knew what was going on today, he'd come here like KING KONG!! I can't even talk to him about it because he'd be SO mad!! He'd rather I stay home than put myself in a position where I could jeopardize any chance of something positive going on with me right now but I was trying to be responsible, keep my mind occupied and come to work. Its ashame people are so self absorbed!!

Oh Renee I'm so sorry that being are doing you that way. You do need to have some extra TLC and rest. I don't blame you for working though if not time drags much slower. I hope that your day and week get better. If not us ladies will have to come up there and put some people in there place!!!

WoW - I am soo sorry that you have to put up with that - people are jerks! and those are the type of people that if it were them -- the world would need to stop for them. It certainly shows that you are a better person than them! What comes around goes around -- please take care of yourself. Your in my thoughts.

I am so sorry you have to dela with such BUTTHEADS!!!
I recall when I was doing my first cycle I was providing childcare for one child. The parents were absolute jerks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After that I stopped because I coldnt deal wiht peoples insensitivity! Some people are just JERKS!

I'm so sorry that you had to deal with that crap. I hope that things start to get better for you. Can you go take a shower, or dosomething relaxing for the rest of the evening ? You could use some time out right now. Go find something that you enjoy doing for you. Not all of us jersey folks are jerks, I care about you. XOXOXOXO

Sorry you have to deal with those insensitive people. I hear ya though...I came into work the day after my retrieval and all I got was a "oh thank god your here today!! It was so crazy yesterday!" Like I was suppose to feel guilty for having my ET or somethig...I hate people sometimes....lets go kick some butt!!!
