Holy cow!!! I've been unable to log on for a few days. My computer got a virus! Perfect timing. So I was so excited about being able to have retrieval on sunday, but of course friday my RE decided to move it to monday. Apparently I was the "talk of the office" and everyone decided I should have one more day of stims. By this time I felt like a bloated whale! I went in this am and they retrieved 12 eggs! I know that doesn't really seem like a lot but my average is 4 so WOO-HOO. Apparently I cried when they told me. I don't remember as the pain killers were really kicking in by that time-lol. So I'm home, took a nap, had some soup, and had to share my news. Fingers crossed for good fertilization #'s. As for the thyroid issue, they're just going to monitor my blood and if I get a BFP, then they'll adjust the meds. I'm trying not to get to stressed about that. Just trying to go one step at a time.

Jamie--congrats on your egg # ! That's fabulous-I'm so jealous.

I got the fert. report back this am. Of the 12 they got, 2 were immature and 10 fertilized. Wowza! Now all we have to do is wait until thurs morning to find out if we have a 3 or 5 day transfer. I've never done the 5 day. The wait may get the best of me. I'm not making any guesses on how many will make it however. I'll take whatever I can get-lol.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I'm starting to get very nervous for tomorrow. But in the meantime here's a question. Did anyone have to constantly use the bathroom after retrieval? I have to get up at least 3 times a night to pee! I'm not drinking any more liquids than usual before bedtime so I'm stumped. It's not like a bladder infection where you just have a little bit-it's a lot. I'm guessing it's because I'm still pretty bloated from the stims and it's the liquid floating thru my kidneys. It doesn't seem to happen as much during the day. I thought I'd ask you guys first before (or if) I call my RE. I hate calling for crazy stuff!

I Did , Went Alot. I Don't Know If There Is Pressure Invovled, That Could Be Causing You To Go. But Would Say It Was Normal 4 Me. Keep Drinking Water, & Callyour Dr. If It Gets Out Of Hand. Wishing You The Best.
