GiasAunt- I am just saw your post that you got a BFP. I knew you were going to get one. I am just so HAPPY for you...YEAH!!!

Girls you have all been in my thoughts & prayers. I know I haven't been responding to any thread. I have bene lurking but not posting. I am doing good. I am not going to be doing IVF anymore. I have been trying to get pregnant w/ baby # 2 for 3 years. I have been going to my RE for off/on 2 years. I haven't gotten pregnant. It is weird that I have gottne pregnant on my own in the past but not doing the FT. So I am going to just start taking care of me & my family. If I do become pregnant I will be happy. I feel very lucky to have my son & anything after is icing on the cake.

I wish all of you girls the best & I will keep checking for my BFP's..

ER 4/30 retrived 5 eggs & 1 mature. Embryo stopped growing on day 4. ET cancelled.
Taking care of self & TTC on our own. Done for now with FT.

Hi Mom2Mikey - I'm so glad you posted, I've been thinking about you and hoping we would hear from you again. You have made a tough and extremely difficult decision and I admire you for it. I think it's great that you are choosing to focus on YOURSELF and the family you have now and aren't losing sight of the big picture, which is that atleast you have your DS and DH, which is more than alot of women have (although I imagine it's difficult to look at it in that light when you are yearning for another child). Just keep trying naturally and if God wills it, you will get your miracle. Please try to stop by and check in to let us know how you're doing and god bless you.

My BW was this morning and I'm supposed to get beta results by 4:00 this afternoon (what torture, making me wait ALL day!!). I'll let you girls know as soon as I find out!!

Mom2Mikey - I'm so gald to hear from you. Also glad to hear you are doing well. Like GiasAUnt said - def it's a tough decision to make but I'm happy you will focus on your family and yourself. Hope to hear from you every now and then so we know how you are doing ;-)

GiasAunt- OMG-It's beta day!! I am very happy for you. Wow four PM, that IS a LONG time. My RE orders the labs stat so that they have to be back in one hour. I am feeling alright. My husband pushed me to POAS last night and it was negative. I know it is possible that I could still be pregnant but I just do not feel like I am. I do not have any symptoms other than cramping, my breast aren't even the slightest bit swollen. Which is funny because they have been for the last month until now. I don't know...I just do not feel like it. I hope and pray my feelings are wrong. Are you having symptoms yet? I'll be waiting to here your big numbers!

Hopefull-So did you POAS? (I do not recommend) I hope you get your BFP! How are you feeling?

GiasAunt - I POAS'd on Sunday...instead of this morning. I know too early but I couldn't help myself...so no BFP. I will POAS tomorrow morning so I'll keep you all posted.

Tanya- just read your message. I'm feeling fine...a little crampy although much much less than last week...barely any cramping. My breast are swollen still but other than that have no signs..even the pain on the left side went away. I'm feeling like I may not be preggo but that I may...so my feeling is 50% /50%. I've been thinking that if I'm not that I will go away to Miami afterall..this weekend coming up. We never cancelled our plane tickets because the cost to cancel or change would be as much as the actual ticket themselves so we decided to just let them go to waste on their own. Basically in order to be able to go to Miami I would have to ask the RE to take my BW thursday vs friday. I don't know if they will do it but I'm asking today. I mean if it's a BFP on thursday then the tickets go to waste as we had planned. If it's a BFN then at least I can fly out on friday and be away for 4 days and just think about a margarita and the beach. We'll see this is our plan for all we know the RE will say no it has to be friday then we will just go with it.

Well my RE said they "don't recommend " I fly if I'm preggo. Because pregnancy would be at such an early stage so why take the risk. So I'm ok with that but if I'm not preggo then I would def like to go to fla. My best friend is getting married. She is like my sister and I def would hate to miss her special day if I knew that I could fly out there but was 1 day shy from the news. In any case the appointment has been moved to thursday morning..so nerve recked!!!!

I am glad they will test you on Thursday! You are one day closer to knowing! I am here hoping /praying you get your BFP! Can't wait to see what Thursday brings for you!

Hi Girls!! I just posted a new thread but wanted to share with you girls in private as well!! Just spoke to nurse and my beta is 286!! I'm so relieved, I can't even put it into words. I was so worried it would be a low number (or my worst fear was that it would somehow be a BFN). I wanted to especially thank you girls for sharing this experience with me, it has been so awesome having other women to talk to throughout this process!! I know we're not out of the woods yet, but hopefully we're on our way and I owe so much of my mental sanity throughout this endeavor to you girls who have posted on this thread!!

Tanya - to answer your question, my symptoms are the same as they have been: extreme bloating, cramping and heightened sense of smell. Oh, and also increased discharge, which I read was a sign of pregnancy. Usually I'm very dry right before AF arrives so I've definitely noticed the difference (sorry for the TMI)!. I read on your other thread that you tested and got a BFN. I can't really share any experiences with you given that this was my first IVF but I've definitely read posts where women tested negative up to day of beta and then ended up with a BFP so don't give up hope yet!!!

HOPEFULL - you are still way too early in my opinion (yesterday was only 6dp3dt or 9dpo, right)?? Be sure to post tomorrow morning though after you POAS again! And no, I don't think moving up your beta to Thursday is the wrong thing to do. They should definitely be able to tell by 10dp3dt!

GiasAunt - Congratulations ;-) I'm super happy for your beta results. 286 is a great number (I posted on your sepeartae thread as well)

As far as my beta results ..I was thinking the same thing..I mean it's bloodwork so they should be able to tell a day earlier. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP in any case and I'll keep you posted on POASing tomorrow. Oh yes wanted to check what kind of HPT you ladies have been using. I used first response and EPT both supposedly give you results 5 days earlier. I don't know how true that is but would like to know what type you ladies used so I can get some at the pharmacy...I also read some where CVS brand? Anyway write back ;-)

I used the same ones you have used. Good luck!

HOPEFULL - I used EPT and I'm not sure what the other ones I used were b/c I got them from saveontests.com and they all just in a box with no name or anything on them.

GOOD LUCK to you HOPEFULL and Tanya for tomorrow!! Both of you please post as soon as you can (HOPEFULL - you after you POAS and Tanya - you after you get beta results)!!! I will eagerly be awaiting to hear from you both!!

I couldn't sleep this morning. Woke up at 5:45 am. So I POASd this morning and I got a faint positive. I used EPT. I mean it's clearly a positive since it's a + sign. Will check tomorrow morning to see if it get's darker.
I'm excited but cautiously excited. I know only the BW can better indicate what's going on.
Thursday is just a few days away so we'll know soon.

Tanya keep us posted on your blood work. I'm praying for you and hope all is good news ;-)

OMG HOPEFULL - THAT IS SO GREAT, I'VE BEEN CHECKING ALL MORNING FOR YOUR POSTS, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! A faint line is a line, no matter how faint it is!!! Remember that first day I tested (at 5dp5dt) I thought it was negative because the line was so faint but when I got home that night I could just barely see one and then the next day it was a little bit darker and it's been getting darker every day since then!! Can't wait to hear from you tomorrow!!

I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning though to see the difference. I was thinking this morning how you couldn't sleep either. I woke up at 1:30 am and thought to do it then but said no will wait until later and then I woke up at 5:45 am and did it. wow 2 more days. I'm glad now that I changed the appt to thursday. As far as Miami - if I get a BFP the trip does not matter to me. I just want to play it safe and follow the Dr's orders.
