Hi ladies - back from ET, things went great. We chose to transfer 2 embryos (even though doc only recommended 1) and both of them are top grade. My beta is 5/12, only 9 days away!!! I was so excited, I thought I'd have to wait 2 whole weeks! But I'm going to POAS on Mother's Day morning (day before beta) so hopefully I'll only have to wait 8 days for my BFP!!

Mom2Mikey and HOPEFULL - good news about the embies hanging in there, don't get down, YOU ONLY NEED 1!!

I'm going back to bed but will check in again later so everyone pls be sure to post any updates!!

GiasAunt- I am glad things went good & can't wait to see the pic of you BFP test. Hey just wondering what did you mena by highest grade embryos?? I am curious because I do not knwo anything of this stuff. I am learning as I go & from you girls.

Hopefull- glad to hear things are progressing w/ your eggs. I know how you feel about not having as many as they had gotten from you. I had 5 eggs & turned out to have only one fertilize. I am praying for you girl.

As for me my trasfer is schedule for MOnday. i will find out what time tomorrow when my RE calsl with an update..I am praying my lil embryo keeps growing..It does only take one. I look @ my son & know that is true..

Taking care of self & TTC on our own. Done for now with FT.

Girls I wanted to let you know that my RE called me this AM & unfortunately my embryo has stopped growing. So NO TRANSFER for me. I am sad but glad I didn't have to go through the whoel transfer & then find out it didn't work. I truely believe it just wasn't meant to be. I amnot what our next step is. We have ins. coverage but only up to $10,000. We have already used some of it so I will see what happens next. Thanks for all your support girls. I wish you all the best & can't wait to check back with all these BFP's..

I'm so sorry. I would talk to your doctor about your protocol and why with PCOS (and your tendency to overstimulate) you ended up with only 5 eggs. My doctors were worried about over-stimulation, too, and they ended up under-stimulating me, and I'd guess that happened with you, too. My doctor said that next time around, we would have done a little longer on lupron and slightly higher doses of medicines early on.

Maryann I'm so very sorry, I agree with Tkeys, because of your PCOS Dx. you should stimulate very nicely I don't know why there were so few eggs, I know it sucks girl but I love your attitude, also I wanted to ask you if you were taking Metformin for your PCOS.

OMG- that was not at all what I expected to hear. I am SO sorry. Maybe this could be considered a "learning cycle". Who knows, maybe next time you could end up with oodles of eggs. It's great that you have insurance coverage. The money will find you, or you will find it.
We took out a loan to pay for everything as we have no coverage. We have a baby payment and no baby. But...it's just money, and if we get pregnant it will be worth every cent and so much more. I just think that if we had not done this I would have spent the rest of my days thinking about the baby we might have had. I wish you the very best with whatever you decide to do and will be here for you anytime. Again...I am so sorry!
